"Terra Infirma" La Verne Krause Gallery

Mounted in conjunction with the Hopes conference, “Terra Infirma“, an exhibition of student art at the Krause gallery will feature work which considers and questions our relationship to the environment. Representing a range of media as well as conceptual and critical approaches, the show will examine preconceptions of landscape and the effects of human interaction and domination, as well as explore our subjective and poetic understandings of place.

Statement:Transformation comes from within the individual. By developing new ideas and creative solutions, we can change our society and the environment in which we live. My work expresses the possibility of revolution through the human mind, drawing on the connections between how we choose to live and how it affects the world around us.
