Welcome to BRING's Planet Improvement Center, a place where environmental stewardship, a thriving business, art, education, community involvement and inspiration combine in a rich and tasty stew. Join us for a panel discussion over lunch, and hear how BRING's mission to conserve resources and effect social change shaped the vision that took this grass roots non-profit organization from a junkyard on an acre of swamp land to a handsome (and green) 3 acre facility in Glenwood that continues to evolve and grow. From 1-1:30 there will be a dessert mingle with the professionals. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This event is brought to you by the Office of Professional Outreach and Development for Students (PODS), which serves students in all A&AA (Architecture and Allied Arts) disciplines to develop job search strategies, career goals and career development tools. This office works collaboratively with both administrative and academic units to provide comprehensive career services to students through a variety of services including: linking students with professionals in the field, individual career advising, presentations to classes & student groups, coordinating workshops, panels, and the annual Career Symposium held in Portland. |
