Ecovillage and Permaculture Certificate Programs (EPCP)

Winter: November 30 – December 13, 2006 Summer: June 18 – August 10, 2007 Fall: TBA, 2007

In addition to a full permaculture design certificate course, this dynamic residential program provides a holistic introduction to social permaculture, ecovillage design and implementation, and community living. Most Universities offer students upper division credit, through program participation.



Synergie Conference

Synergy is a four-day event at The Evergreen State College. It is paid for by TESC student activities fees and supported by many academic programs. The conference boasts 8 keynotes, and over 30 presentations, workshops, tours and panel discussions. It is organized by a diverse coalition of students in a collective effort to create a holistic learning experience and a model for a more sustainable world.

Northwest Power and Conservation Council

A great storehouse of energy information for the Northwest States - Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. The Northwest Power and Conservation Council develops and maintains a regional power plan and a fish and wildlife program to balance the Northwest's environment and energy needs.
