AAA 408/508 HOPES CONFERENCE
The intention of offering academic credit for the HOPES conference is to provide an opportunity to experience and synthesize an interdisciplinary event focused on leading issues in sustainability theory and practice. Through independent selection, students can focus their activities based upon areas of interest and coordination needs. Students will engage in the collaborative planning process across disciplines and learn event panning strategies from speaker solicitation and management to program design, logistics and marketing strategies.
Schedule Enrolled students should be prepared to attend a majority of the conference events over the April 10-13 conference timeframe. A minimum of 10 hours in attendance is required.
