Co-Director Undergrad
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Graduate Co-Director to pick annual theme for conference
  • Coordinate Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, and ASUO Engage platforms
  • Attend all ASUO required planning councils and trainings
  • Organize Weekly meetings with the team
  • Monitor approaching deadlines and assign tasks that do not fall under the predefined roles
  • Represent the Undergraduate Student Body’s interests on the HOPES team
Co-Director Grad
 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Undergraduate Co-Director to pick annual theme for conference

Director of Finances
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage Budget and submit necessary information to ASUO during Budget approval process
  • Negotiate Speaker contracts and work with ASUO to ensure payment
  • Monitor POs submitted by club to ensure budget is being respected
  • Prepare and submit necessary Surplus Requests
  • Work with speakers to plan travel and coordinate hotels
Director of Logistics
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Catering, Livestreaming, and Room Reservations
  • Manage registration and attendance tracking
  • Collect and coordinate volunteers
Director of Outreach
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with other student orgs to inspire collaboration
  • Develop a comprehensive outreach campaign in collaboration with social media director involving social media, tabling, posters, banners, and presence on campus
  • Develop language to be used in branding materials and define outreach materials needed from Branding director
Director of Social Media
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Social Media presence for the organization
  • Maintain and update the website
  • Create a Social Media plan for announcing theme, speakers, and conference updates
  • Engage with other organizations through social media
Director of Branding
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive branding guide for the conference that engages with the chosen theme
  • Create necessary branding materials throughout the outreach campaign
  • Prepare editable files to be used by other members of the group
  • Export files for print
  • Develop Merchandise for the Conference
Director of Speakers
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary touchpoint for all speaker communication
  • Collect all necessary information from speakers for website and branding
  • Collaborate with financial director to negotiate contracts
  • Work with speakers to decide on presentation formats
Director of Programming
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Call for Papers
  • Contact Faculty about potential Workshops and Panels
  • Coordinate with other clubs to co-host events
  • Manage event schedule
